When Leaders Who Serve Take Notice
There are moments along this journey with Guardians of Old Glory that stop you in your tracks, and this was one of them.
I recently had the privilege of spending time on a video call with Frank Siller, Chairman and CEO of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Just having the opportunity to speak with someone who has dedicated his life to honoring our nation’s heroes was incredibly meaningful.
From the very beginning, what stood out most wasn’t just what Frank has built—but who he is. His humility, his heart, and his unwavering commitment to service came through in every part of our conversation.
We spoke about the mission of Guardians of Old Glory, replacing worn American flags by empowering Scouts and youth groups to carry out respectful, meaningful ceremonies in their communities. It was an honor to share what we’re building, but even more meaningful to have someone like Frank take the time to listen.
He didn’t have to make time for this conversation, but he did.
And that says everything.
In addition to his time and encouragement, Frank also made a generous donation to support the mission of Guardians of Old Glory. That kind of support means more than words can express, not just financially, but as a sign of belief in what we’re building.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation continues to lead by example, providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star families, fallen first responder families, and catastrophically injured veterans, while also investing in programs that address veteran homelessness across the country. Their work is a powerful reminder of what it looks like to turn gratitude into action.
To have the encouragement and support of someone so deeply committed to service is something I don’t take lightly. Moments like this reinforce that this mission resonates, and that people who understand impact recognize what we’re building.
This moment wasn’t just a meeting, it was encouragement. It was validation. And it was a reminder that when you lead with purpose, others step forward to help carry it.
We’re just getting started, and with the right partners and supporters, the impact we can make together is far greater than anything we can do alone.
If this mission speaks to you, we invite you to be part of it.
