🌕 Mission Overview
In 2028, during the historic Artemis IV mission, Guardians of Old Glory aims to proudly support America’s return to the Moon by donating a new United States flag to be carried by the astronauts.
This flag will symbolize:
- The enduring spirit of our nation
- Respect for those who have served
- A renewed commitment to exploration and unity
Our goal is to have this flag accompany astronauts as they establish humanity’s next chapter on the lunar surface.

The original flags placed during the Apollo Program have endured decades of extreme conditions. Some are believed to be faded or no longer standing.
Guardians of Old Glory wants to:
- Replace a worn symbol with a new one
- Honor the past while supporting the future
- Ensure the American flag remains a proud presence on the Moon
🎖️ The Donation Ceremony
We are planning a formal Flag Presentation Ceremony ahead of the Artemis IV launch.
Event Highlights:
- Official presentation of the flag to mission representatives
- 🎤 Remarks from veterans, community leaders, and supporters
- 🧑🚀 Recognition of the Artemis IV crew
- 🎖️ Tribute to those who have served our country
- 📸 Media coverage and public engagement
The flag will be respectfully prepared and presented in a ceremonial case, representing the collective support of Americans across the nation.
