Last night, Guardians of Old Glory was honored to be featured on ABC7’s “ABC7 Salutes“, a segment that recognizes individuals and organizations making a positive impact in their communities.

This recognition shines a spotlight on our mission: restoring pride in our neighborhoods by replacing worn American flags at no cost to homeowners, while placing service, leadership, and civic responsibility into the hands of our youth.

The segment highlighted our recent flag ceremony with Boy Scout Troop 139, where Scouts, supported by the United States Marine Corps and community partners, received brand-new American-made flags to respectfully retire and replace weathered flags throughout their neighborhoods.

Being featured on ABC7 Salutes is more than a moment of recognition, it’s validation that this mission matters. It’s about honoring our flag, empowering young leaders, and reminding communities that patriotism is alive and well when we serve together.

We are deeply grateful to ABC7 for sharing our story and to everyone who has supported Guardians of Old Glory from the very beginning. This is just the start.
